Will it ever end?

Posted in Downs, Poetry on December 23, 2007 by Mya

Cold is the floor I lay on
Cold is the heart I bear
Cold are the thoughts in my mind
Cold is the soul I am entitled

Drunken by spirits,
Drunken in pain
Drunken in despair
Drunken in plans

The floor by hour is colder,
The bottle by hour is emptier,
The soul by hour is drunkt
The male by hour is hornier

Turgidity, turgidity, turgidity
Overwhelmed by it
Overthrown by it
To a world unknown
To living and to dead
Until one’s encounter…

Betroven by life’s meaninglessness,
Overwhelmed by vengeance
A mind murders a soul
A heart is mended by fantasies

All through the night
‘Till dawn’s cold comes unbearably
A drunken heart, soul, mind and body
Get on with a day’s work
As though no night was there
As though a floor was no bed
As though a Spirit was no dinner
‘Till dusk sets its place
And the monotony of the night
Sets it’s pace

This girl… Me

Once upon a time,

there was a gal who cried the river

and drowned the whole world.

She looked so sad in photographs,

but you would absolutely love her when she smiled.

She lived a crazy life.

Her life was never on earth,

it was always on her mind.

She hated living on the earth;

it was such a terrible place.

She found a haven in the hallucinations of her mind,

well triggered by cigars and liquor

A pity nobody knew her,

so nobody thought twice…

In her stupor, she had handled well most situations…

Twas’ never easy to live with 2 large scars in her heart

and her womb…

She told one, but was never covered,

She took that “the less in society are less everywhere after all”

Never needed and never wanted,

always nursing rejection, and loss and heartaches…

All in her history, but dragged to her present…

She was an animal,

who only cared for what was hers and nothing more…

She cohabited in all situations,

and was all round in figure.

Best among good, wisest among wise,

worst among bad, a demon among evil, humblest…

She could live in a mansion and in a hole at the same time.

She was in distress and in pain and she was dangerous…

She needed to get out of this chain of addiction…

The chain was too mighty and huge;

she would have given up…

Not until the chain bearer began whipping her…

She was wild with the need to escape…

But always there was a tragedy;

her loved, who most never reciprocated,

Rather despised and condemned and judged, and called names…

She heard It all,

and they smiled in pretense, acting sweet…

Most if not all were traitors,

waiting for her downfall…

She wanted out;

she had a story in her mind…

The story was of freedom,

no chains, no pain, no evil, and no hate…

All she had to do was make it real.

She needed it…

She needed perfect sleep, in redemption

She needed away from her addictions…

She wanted rehabilitation from all she was in…

She had to make the story real…

And it all came as a dream…

And a dream it has been all along, to her future…

Never happier than the day she broke the chain…

She kissed the earth goodbye,

and went well into her hallucinations,

Where she belonged….

She thinks of ones she loved,

and always has a tear for each one of them…

Otherwise,

she loves her rehabilitation, in her hallucinations…

Oh what a life…

So peaceful it is now…

No sadness, no hate, no rape, no traitors, no judges…

Life full of flowers and butterflies

and green grass and beaches and meadows…

The life she sings in her heart…

Her consolation from all the life on earth…

No rejection and hate…. All are equal and same…

She is happier in her dreams…

She would have been dead a long time now,

But she would never give up for the chain…

She dreads for all who pass through the chain…

Its bearer is angry and wrathful

and jealous and distressing and dictating….

The bearer’s companions are just the same…

Pray that your sons and daughters

never get through the chain bearer.

In all, she has a home in her hallucinations.

A new family,

A new farm, full of all domestics,

New garments and a servant by her side…

A life that was once a dream…

She never regrets leaving the earth…

Through The Rain…

It aint my first time to blog, but this time I will never be set back by anything or anyone, so I picked up these lyrics by Mariah Carey that perfectly fit my mood and situation.

              in-the-rain.jpg

When you get caught in the rain with no where to run
When you’re distraught and in pain without anyone

when you keep crying out to be saved
but nobody comes
And you feel so far away
That you just can’t find your way home
You can get there alone
It’s okay, what you say is

I can make it through the rain
I can stand up once again on my own
And I know that I’m strong enough to mend
And everytime I feel afraid I hold tighter to my faith
And I live one more day and I make it through the rain

And if you keep falling down don’t you dare give in
You will arise safe and sound, so keep pressing on steadfastly
And you’ll find what you need to prevail
What you say is

I can make it through the rain
I can stand up once again on my own
And I know that I’m strong enough to mend
And everytime I feel afraid I hold tighter to my faith
And I live one more day and I’ll make it through the rain

And when the rain blows, as shadows grow close don’t be afraid
There’s nothing you can’t face
And should they tell you you’ll never pull through
Don’t hesitate, stand tall and say-ay-yeah-yeah-hey-ey

I can make it through the rain
I can stand up once again on my own
And I know that I’m strong enough to mend
And everytime I feel afraid I hold tighter to my faith
And I live one more day and I make it through the rain

I can make it through the rain
And stand up once again
And I live one more day
And I can make it through the rain
(Oh, yes you can)
Ohh, You’re gonna make it through the … rain

This is not what entirely entails my blog, as it will be of my experiences in different parts of the world. From epidemics to dangerous outbreaks, to pregnancy, to a lot of  fun and all.

I hope to be what you will want to read. You are all most welcomed.
